Wilkes Public Library stated :

"Hey all! Who loves American Girl? We are celebrating Kaya's birthday this Saturday, March 23 @ 12-2 pm. Ranger Juanita will be there to talk about Kaya's life and even do a Shawl Dance! Kids can bring their AG doll and dress up like Kaya. There will be snacks and lots of fun!"

You can use this as an intro to the American Girl series and learn more about other historic times. Let your homeschooler explore history and have fun.
