This is the local schedule for the Wilkes Public Library. The Blue Ridge Christian Home Educators will be featuring their art at the Library. Take your time to get home school resources from the library. Please take the time to visit the library in Wilkes with your family.

"Every Tue. 11:00 am - Storytime. Stories and songs for preschool and early elementary children.

Every Thu. 11:00 am - Baby Time Stories, songs and finger plays for children 3 years and younger.

Thu. April 3, 5:30 pm - Arts in April reception in Youth Services. Students with the Blue Ridge Christian Home Educators will be displaying their art all month.

Sat. April 5, 2:00 pm - Anime Club. You're invited to join our monthly meeting of the Teen Anime Club! If you love manga, anime, or something similar come by for discussion, friends, and fun! Ages 12-17 are welcome.

Sat. April 12, 10:00 am - 2nd Annual Family Fun Day. Come join us for costumed characters, food, and fun for the whole family! We are hosting many different family organizations from our area including: Child Developmental Services Agency and Wilkes Partnership for Children.

National Library Week April 13th - 19th. Come by each day and create a make and take craft! Show your library some love.

Library will be closed April 18th & 19th in observance of Easter.

Tue. April 22, 9:00 am - Earth Day. Come by and celebrate Earth Day with us. We will have make and take crafts just for you.

Library Con Logo Contest - Come and enter your own original artwork into our LOGO CONTEST! all ages are free to enter. The winning logo will be used on ALL flyers, posters, and announcements for the 6th annual Library Con. Last day to enter is April 25th! Call 336-838-2818 x 231 for more info!

Attention Teens: If you are interested in volunteering at the library this summer, stop by the Youth Services desk and pick up your application today! Meet new friends, get work experience, and have a blast doing it.
Ages 12-17 may apply by April 30th.
