Wild zoo Halloween

Kids can enjoy “merry-not-scary” Halloween fun at the Fort Wayne Children's Zoo. Children can see zoo animals while exploring "Treat Trails," marching in the costume parade, navigating the "Mystery Maze" and dancing the "Monster Mash."

Wild Zoo Halloween activities are located in the Central Zoo and portions of the Australian Adventure. (The African Journey and Indonesian Rain Forest will not be open during the Wild Zoo Halloween.)

Mark your calendar for these special days during the Wild Zoo Halloween:
October 19: Free Train Rides
October 20: Star Wars Day
October 21: Mascot Day
October 25: Pumpkin Decorating Workshop
October 26: Free Train Rides
October 27: Princess Day
October 28: Magic Day
October 31: Animals & Pumpkins

The dates are October 19-21, 25-28 & 31, 2012 12:00-5:00 pm daily. Admission is $4 for adults and $8 for children. Zoo members get $2 off per person each day.

Activities include:

  • Kids trick or treat for candy
  • Navigate a mini-corn maze
  • Pick a pumpkin in our Pumpkin Patch
  • Tons of kid-friendly activities
  • See zoo animals
  • All the above is included in your admission fee!

Everything listed under Daily Activity Schedule and Special Days is included with your admission, along with 10 treats for every child and a free pumpkin from the Pumpkin Patch. Additional fees are charged for these optional activities: train ride, carnival-style games, bead bracelet, face painting, pony ride, and food purchased at zoo concession stands.
