Minnesota’s Adam Wilcox has been honored by the Big Ten Conference again this week, for the second week in a row. He earned the league’s Second Star after posting a 0.96 goals against average and a .959 save percentage as the #1 Gophers claimed four of the six available points versus Michigan State.

Wilcox leads the Big Ten in wins with eighteen (second in the nation), and is unbeaten in his last fourteen starts. He earned a 1-0 shutout against the Spartans on Saturday at Mariucci Arena.

The Gophers are back in action this weekend as Big Ten conference play continues with a trip to Madison to take on the Wisconsin Badgers. Both games this weekend will air on Big Ten Network in a special Thursday night-Friday night series. Thursday’s opener is set for 7:30pm CT while Friday’s series finale is set for an 8pm start. Both games will air on 1500 ESPN (radio) and (BTN stream).
