Other retailers are offering gift cards with the Wii U this week but Best Buy has slashed the price of the Basic version in a two-day sale that started Friday, March 22. The retailer also has a long list of PS3, Xbox 360, Wii U, Wii, Nintendo 3DS and DS games on sale.
The Wii U Basic is currently on sale at Best Buy for $249.99 through Saturday, March 23. This is $50 off the regular price. The Basic edition of the Wii U comes with the white console featuring 8GB of internal storage along with the GamePad. Unfortunately, the Deluxe version which features more storage and a free game did not receive a similar discount.
Some of the notable games on sale through Saturday at Best Buy include Kirby Mass Attack at $7.99 for the DS, Darksiders II for PS3 and Xbox 360 at $14.99, Assassin's Creed III for $29.99, Nintendo Land for the Wii U is $29.99.
