'Wife Swap': Kate Gosselin thinks she does it much better than Kendra Wilkinson

Was Kate Gosselin serious when she put down Kendra Wilkinson’s parenting style? While Kate might think she knows a thing or two about parenting because she has a brood of eight, anyone who watched her reality show might not see it that way. According to Too Fab on Wednesday Feb. 27, 2013, Kate and Kendra switched places on “Wife Swap” last night and Kate thinks that Kendra isn’t “doing it right,” when it comes to parenting.

Kendra moved in with eight kids and Kate got a vacation watching only one when the two switched families. Some might have concerns about leaving Kate in charge of their kids after watching her reality show and seeing Kate on her RV trip with her kids and friends. All the woman did was yell and throw diva fits.

Kendra sat and listened to Kate tell her “"Reading your manual made me believe that you just let everybody else do everything because you don't care." Kendra and Kate do have very different lifestyles, so neither would fit comfortable into the other’s world, but should Kate be throwing stones?

One of the complaints that Kendra had about Kate’s expectations of her kids is the amount of chores the Gosselin brood is expected to do. Kendra thinks they should spend more time being kids. She even shed a tear over the amount of work the eight kids were slated to do daily, according to ABC News today.

Kate got to relax in comparison to what she goes through when at home. Watching one child was a piece of cake for Kate.

Kendra, as seen on her reality show a while back, likes her party time and there’s nothing wrong with this as long as her little guy is well cared for while she’s out. When Kendra is home, she is very much present and spends more than an ample amount of quality time with her son.

When Kate’s home, she’s busy planning for a way to get her family on T.V. again, so who does it better? While Kendra plays, sings and reads to her son, Kate is working while at home, so who is actually spending the quality time with their offspring? Kate might be home more, but it is the time spent with the kids and actually engaging them that matters.

Kendra agreed she needed to grow up a little, but she didn’t really commit to doing it anytime soon. Kate came on like the expert at mothering and she might just really believe this. Either way “Wife Swap” with Kendra and Kate showed that these women may have some work to do when it comes to parenting.
