A woman faces charges for putting bleach in her husband’s eye drops, which she admitted to doing as a way to get revenge for marital problems. The 35-year-old Michigan woman first took out an ad on Craigslist looking for someone to assault her husband before resigning herself to putting chlorine bleach in his Visine drops. Apparently there were no takers to rough-up her husband.

According to Argus Leader on Dec. 27, Kristy Ryan McDermed pleaded guilty to the charge of domestic violence after her husband went to the police with the bottle of eye drops. The husband said that when he got out of the shower he put what he thought was Visine drops in his eyes, but he knew something was wrong when his eyes started to burn, according to "Fox and Friends Weekend" live on Sunday morning.

He said he could smell the bleach in the bottle. The drops didn’t cause any permanent damage to his eyes. This wife and mother is facing penalties of up to 93 days in jail and up to a $500 fine at her sentencing in district court for domestic violence. Considering she made a few attempts to cause bodily harm to her husband, a judge might be hard-pressed to go easy on the wife.
