The first widespread freeze of the season was experienced across the state this morning.
This was the coldest morning so far this season and the coldest overall since early March.
Temperatures across the state plunged into the upper 20s with a few areas dropping into the low 20s!
The only areas in the state that did not quite make to freezing was along the gulf coast.
Temperatures Saturday morning will not be as cold, with temperatures 5 to 10 degrees warmer with low temperatures ranging from the low to the upper 30s statewide.
