As the episode begins, Captain Ball Buster is giving Jarrett some crab because he found a wing nut on the deck and blamed him for not tightening it, as TJ sits at the helm grinning. When TJ announces that they are going to Georges Bank, 150 miles from home. His father Tim, objects because he did not discuss it with the rest of the crew. It will cost much more in fuel and bait and time to reach there, but TJ heard that a friend is catching tuna there and wants to go where the fish are. If they do not return with fish, it will be a $3,000 loss for the boat, but Tim states that it is a nasty place to fish.

On the FV-Tuna.Com, Garon is waiting for the next bite. Captain Dave knows that TJ is breathing down his neck and wants to get a big lead on him and the rest of the fleet. When the finder shows a big fish in the area, and then the reel spins, Garon is thrilled until he finds it is a seal that just ate his bait.

On the Miss Sambuca, they are catching plenty of bait, but need a tuna desperately. Two weeks without a fish is a long time, and Bruce will have a wedding to pay for soon. When a large spot on the finder gets their hopes up, a whale surfaces to lower their expectations.

On the Lily, Captain Bill is anxious to get out there as Mark flies above. When a school of tuna is spotted, Bill throws the harpoon and misses his mark. Back in the pulpit, Bill gets another sign from above and misses again. Kevin believes he can do better and goes out to throw, but the fish are already spooked and go in several directions as he loses his shot and comes back to the wheelhouse.

As the Dot.Com gets another beep on the finder; they hook up and reel in a fatty. They bring him into the dock and weighs 500 pounds dressed, pays $18 for $9,000.

On the Pin Wheel, Tyler is fishing, when he looks up and sees Stellwagen filled with fishing boats, when he tells his crew that Dot.Com caught another fish, they tell him to forget about them and just fish.

As Paul and his crew find lots of bait fish in the area, they drop anchor because they know the tuna will be there. Soon the reel starts spinning as they pray he comes on deck. Just as they see color, the line breaks and he is gone.

At Georges, TJ is seeing whales and knows that is a great sing. Reba is barking as the reel spins, and then they find it is a shark.

On the Lily, Mark is flying above and sees hundreds of fish, but one must realize that they are moving and so is the boat. This time Bill does not miss, and he is another fatty that measures 91 inches and weighs 290 dressed paying $14 for $4,060.

As the Hot Tuna gets a bite, another boat comes right towards them, but unlike some other fishermen, he is apologetic and moves away, as they reel him in at 90 inches. After celebrating a few minutes, TJ hears about a tropical storm headed their way, as he knows Georges is called the graveyard of the Atlantic. The fish weighs 352 and pays $19 for $6,688.
