If you haven't been to the Orpheum Theatre in Memphis to see the fabulous musical, "Wicked," you still have plenty of time to go. It runs through February 16, 2014. Also, a special lottery is open for orchestra seats. Christina Torres, Press Relations Manager for the theatre announces, the following.
"A day-of-performance lottery for a limited number of orchestra seats will be held for WICKED, which is returning to The Orpheum Theatre with performances from Wednesday, January 29 through February 16. Two and one-half hours prior to each performance, people who present themselves at the Orpheum Theatre box office will have their names placed in a lottery drum; thirty minutes later, names will be drawn for a limited number of orchestra seats at $25 each, cash only. This lottery is available only in-person at the box office, with a limit of two tickets per person. Lottery participants must have a valid photo ID when submitting their entry form and, if chosen, when purchasing tickets.
'Wicked' celebrated its 10th Anniversary on October 30th. There are currently nine productions of the musical worldwide: New York, London, Japan (Tokyo), Australia/New Zealand, South Korea (Seoul), Latin America (Mexico City), a U.K. Tour, and two concurrent North American National Tours.
