The 2013 Final Four games are just hours from tip-off and before the day is out NCAA basketball fans will know which two teams will be playing for a National Championship.
According to Foxnews on April 6, the first game of the evening will feature No. 9 seed Wichita State vs. the No. 1 seeded Louisville Cardinals. The Shockers will be trying to shock the world when they take the court vs. the heavily favored Cardinals.
Louisville has rolled through the 2013 March Madness Tournament so far and will continue to do so today.
The Shockers are on a great run themselves, proving they belong with the big boys by beating Gonzaga and Ohio State on their way to the Final Four, but now they are going to face their toughest team yet in Louisville.
Led by Russ Smith and Peyton Silva, Louisville will be tough to beat.
The nightcap will feature two No. 4 seeds when the Michigan Wolverines take on the Syracuse Orangemen.
Michigan, led by Trey Burke and freshman Mitch McGary have helped the Wolverines become one of the most dangerous teams left in the Final Four.
The big question is this - can Michigan establish an inside game vs. the famous 2-3 zone that the Cuse throws at teams?
Here is a look at the Final Four schedule and current Las Vegas odds.
- Wichita State Shockers vs. Louisville Cardinals (-10) - 6:09 p.m. EST
- Michigan Wolverines (-2.5) vs. Syracuse Orangemen - 8:55 p.m. EST
As for the picks, there will be no shocking Louisville as they will beat WSU, and as much as it pains me to say it, I think the only way Michigan wins vs. Syracuse is if they shoot lights out once again like they did vs. Florida.
Picks - Louisville -10, Syracuse +2.5
