A dog rescue at a craft show? Of course, when that rescue also has it's own "boutique" line of doggy wear. K-9 Karma Animal Advocates will be at the Craft-A-Palooza tomorrow, Feb. 1 from 10 am - 4 pm at Century II Convention Center, 225 W. Douglas in Wichita.
Craft-A-Palooza is billed as "a one day shopping extravaganza featuring an eclectic blend of handmade arts & crafts, bling & glam boutiques, sparkly jewels, antique & vintage bliss, home décor & inspiration, re-loved/re-purposed funky junk along with fabulous finds for your creative soul!"
K-9 Karma will have a booth selling everything from bandanas to sweaters and coats for dogs and even adornments for their guardians. These come straight from the K-9 Karma Boutique where you can also place custom order requests for your loyal companion.
The rescue has had several special cases medically, including this week's brand new litter of eight puppies with the littlest one struggling for her life today. You can get adornments for your dog to help the rescue and they would appreciate any size donation to help with the growing vet bills.
Admission for the event is $3 with children under 12 admitted free. You can shop 'til you drop, and along the way, help one of Wichita's all-breed dog rescues.
