Wichita moms get fit with yoga

If you've resolved to get rid of muffin top this year, you're not alone. Many of us are still battling post-pregnancy bodies and self-image issues long after our youngest enters Kindergarten. Committing to an exercise routine is rough when you have little ones under foot, laundry piling, and meals to prepare; not to mention that many of us work outside of the home as well. It's rough to find the time -as well as the energy- but fitness is important. Instead of stressing over getting back into our skinny jeans, we've got bigger issues to consider. If we want to reduce our risk of obesity related diseases such as type II diabetes, high-blood pressure, heart disease, etc., we need find activities that promote a healthy weight and decrease stress. Healthier moms have an easier time dealing parental stress, and kids benefit. The spot light for today is yoga. Yoga is a great exercise to help keep your joints nimble, your muscles flexible, boosts metabolism, and decreases stress.
