A Wichita Falls man was sentenced to prison time for shooting one man and brutally beating two others in the 78th District Court Wednesday, according to a recent Wichita Falls Times Record News article. Justin Reid Boree, 32, was sentenced to 10 years in prison for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and four years in the penitentiary for two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

Victim Michael Stimpson was beaten so severely he had to undergo two surgeries and have three metal plates placed in his face. Another victim also suffered serious damage to his face as result of the brutal assault. Jason Gamblin had to have a plate implanted in his face after Boree confronted him with a gun while simultaneously striking him with his fist.

Benjamin Mullins, the third victim in the bloodbath, was shot. This victim suffered wounds to his neck and back as result of being shot with a gun.

Boree's twin brother Christopher Lear Boree, 32, also has been charged with aggravated assault causing serious bodily injury in relation to the same beatdown.

Defense attorney Bruce Harris argued against a lengthy prison sentence. Harris reportedly said Stimpson was beaten by Boree's brother on a previous occasion. He said the group of men came to the Boree residence in pursuit of revenge for that prior beating.

The prosecutor representing the District Attorney's Office argued against leniency. The prosecution based this on the fact a previous alleged attempt at rehabilitation of the defendant failed in 2006 after he beat yet another man with a pistol.

The prosecution further argued the defendant is a dangerous individual and belongs in prison.

Boree will serve the three prison sentences concurrently, meaning at the same time.
