Saturday Wisconsin Zombies rallied in Madison to protest Governor Scott Walker and the state GOP attempt to strip union members of long cherished collective bargaining rights. The good natured march was organized via the social networking website Facebook.
The light hearted, humorous protest stands in contrast to the very serious prolonged and protracted protests that have haunted the state capital in recent weeks. The attempt by Walker and the GOP to squash unions sparked a national debate. Many Wisconsin voters believe Walker and the GOP seriously overstepped their mandate, and are engaged in recall campaigns across the state.
Many Zombies marching in Wisconsin claimed to be in search of a rare and exotic delicacy: Republican brains. Although plenty of Republicans were spotted, Zombies reported frustration at the lack of brains attending said Republicans.

“Ghouls for Schools: Educated Brains Taste Better!”
“4 Out of 5 Zombies Recommend Neo-Con Brains”
“Unions Keep Firefighters Undead”
“I’d give an arm to see this bill die”
“Workers supporting Walker are like Chickens who support Col. Sanders”
