Why Use a Travel Agent…can’t I do it myself?? Yes, you can do it yourself. Thanks to the invention of Google and other search engines, most people can navigate their way around the World Wide Web locating hotels, attraction tickets, dining guides and anything else they might need to plan the vacation of their dreams. Still there are people like me…we refer to ourselves as "Travel Agents", "Travel Planners" (or any other creative name we can think of). Part of our mission is to entice people to welcome us into their lives. You might have used one of us at a time in your lives when you were too preoccupied or overwhelmed to take care of important travel details, i.e. honeymoon or large family reunion. However, when it comes to your annual family vacation or couples getaway, you sit down in front of your computer and plan away, usually enjoying all the discovery and details. But we are still here.
Why?? There is a simple answer, with a rather detailed explanation. Why use a Travel Agent? Two words: TIME and MONEY! A Travel Agent is an expert. Someone who can save you time and money by handling all the details, no matter how small, and by making sure you get the best deals around.
Now, I love to plan vacations and I know that while enjoyable, it can be very time-consuming. Hours are spent online or waiting on hold to verify dates and rates, finding the best deals and trying to navigate attractions and reservations. A Travel Agent is your planning professional, knowledgeable from extensive training, and devoted to making sure you are getting up to date and comprehensive information. In the everyday hustle and bustle of life, it is hard to find the time to set aside for vacation planning. While you may have some time, a Travel Agent can be your partner, assisting in as much or as little of the planning you desire. Don’t want to give up all the control? You don’t have to. Don’t have time to research and learn about your destination? A Travel Agent can answer questions, make suggestions, and organize your itinerary.
Now MONEY…well, that is a big one, huh? For many families, the economy has put travel plans on the backburner. For a die-hard traveler like me, this is disheartening. Yet there is good news! Not only does using a Travel Agent free up your time, it saves you valuable vacation dollars and costs you nothing additional. Yep, you heard me right! My services are complimentary and my inside connections can save you hundreds of dollars! From the beginning, we are always monitoring the specials, making sure you get the best deal out there, offering client incentives, onboard credits for select cruises, and more. Yes, you can book a vacation yourself, but if someone with expertise and experience can help you for FREE, why not? You work hard for your money and deserve to take time out to explore the world and share it with the people you love. I firmly believe that to see the world is to really live and the experiences you have will make memories that last a lifetime.
TIME and MONEY. Yes, it is that simple. So, that brings us to another question….why choose me?
