Why don't supplements, quick fixes, and gimmicks work? Simple: they don't last. You can't take a supplement forever. You can't keep up a fad diet forever, and you can't follow a gimmick forever. While it makes for a good advertising campaign and good sales revenue as everyone wants to believe there is a magic pill or magic diet that will help them, the reality is that none of it works in the long run, and the long run can also mean in as little as 3 months.

The only way to get healthy and achieve a great body and level of fitness in the long run is to take the natural approach. This sounds boring compared to the sensational excitement of supplements and pills, but it can be just as exciting, believe it or not.

See, your body is a phenomenal organism with the ability to transform and adapt naturally when subjected to various stimuli. Rather than take a supplement or go on a short term diet that will leave you worse off in the long run than when you started, you need to take a natural approach to physical and biological transformation that will allow you to keep your results.

You can increase your metabolism naturally (without a pill or supplement) by doing interval training or higher intensity weight training that both increase your RMR (resting metabolic rate) for 24 hours. There are many more exclusive benefits to naturally losing weight and getting in better shape, but the bottom line is in the long run it is the only way to go. It is also the overall healthier way as well. Most supplements are not FDA tested, and are not regulated, and most models and companies advertising them don't even use them consistently. They are only a short term solution that leads to long term failure.
