When music mogul Kanye West began dating reality star Kim Kardashian, many people had skepticism towards the pairing.
One of those who appeared to express their displeasure was international superstar Beyonce Knowles, wife to music pioneer Jay-Z. West works closely with Jay-Z and Beyonce couldn’t seem to force a friendship with Kardashian.
And while it remains to be seen if Beyonce and Kim will ever be close, whatever grudge one of them may have held appears to be thawing ever since Kardashian and West announced that they are expecting their first child together in the coming year.
This was further illustrated when West took to his personal Twitter account earlier in the week and updated his nine-million plus followers with a flashback photo of himself and Kim sitting next to Jay-Z and Beyonce at last year’s BET Awards.
The message attached to the picture read “FAM”, an obvious attempt from West to express the unity he has in the quartet seen in the photo.
In a post from Bossip.com on Friday, Jan. 11, it appears that West actually did a little editing to the photo before he posted it, as Beyonce’s sister Solange was removed from the picture.
Solange reportedly had taken some shots at Kim upon hearing that she was dating West. It remains to be seen if this was a cold diss from West or whether or not people are simply overacting to this latest piece of news.
