Through executives orders, Barack Obama is indeed, fundamentally transforming America to reflect that which is what he, and perhaps Congress perceive America to be. Once upon a time this was considered taxation without representation.
While it may be true, America is a country of immigrants, representing multi-cultures and seeking that which is not found in their country of origins, it is hardly a country of illegal immigrants, of whom, Congress hopes will retain their powers for time to come.
The ‘Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals,’ had it’s peak moments in mainstream media coverage and now that the elections is no longer a factor, the program is no longer a hot topic. It served it’s purpose(Homeland Security).
Republicans too, are searching for avenues within the boundaries of the constitution to circumvent the will of the people by seeking to legalize illegal acts. Who would have thought this was possible?
It’s crystal clear, Washington, in it’s entity, has decided to forego, dismiss and completely ignore the constitution, which has served as the foundation of the country, as well as, what America stands for, abide in and live by.
What the ‘Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals’ doesn’t do, this latest executive order, or ‘plan,’ accomplish by way of what’s deemed, ‘extreme hardship.’ While looking out for 'extreme hardships’ on behalf of illegal immigrants, Washington is overlooking or completely ignoring ‘extreme hardships’ inflicted upon Americans because of non-enforcement of immigration policies(NumbersUSA).
Congress, by all rights, under the constitution is empowered to establish all immigration laws, but they have allowed this administration to get away with, more than a few trial runs around their exclusive authority by ignoring, or looking the other way when it comes to establishing laws pertaining to the overall protection of the American people.
Common sense would dictate, it would be cheaper and beneficial to simply enforce immigration policy and stop worrying about a class of people who come seeking benefits, while flying their own country’s flag(RT).
While this new executive order is beneficial to only politicians and illegal immigrants, it places an undue hardship on the country’s workforce, which is still held accountable for tax revenue generation. Why should Americans be so unlucky and illegal immigrants be so lucky?
