My heart is so heavy for Michael Jackson, not as much for his death, as for his life. Michael had the adoration of millions, he had wealth, he had fame, he seemingly had everything, except peace. Luke 9:25 For what is a man advantaged, if he gain the whole world, and lose himself, or be cast away?
Michael Jackson was a broken person, much as we all are without the hand of God in our lives. People worshiped Michael as a God, but he was not God, but a mere mortal man. The pressures Michael Jackson lived under, from the time he was five years old, were unbelievable.
Michael had the pressure to perform, pressure to be the best, and the pressure to keep the love and respect of his fans. No one can live up to these pressures, without one day falling from the heavens like Icarus, of Greek mythology, who dared to fly too close to the sun.
Michael was his family's bread winner. Without him there was no Jackson Five. Michael lacked any true childhood and was taught the only way to get approval, was to be what others wanted him to be. Abused, maybe sexual as well as physical, at the hands of a cruel father and the fact of his mother's inability to protect him, changed Michael Jackson forever. In all his fame, he lost himself, with all his riches, Michael Jackson was a cast away.
Michael suffered the same fate many great men face. The fate of being made to feel, because they are great, because they are loved, because they are famous, they could do no wrong. His music brought him great joy, but his life caused him great physical and emotionally pain. Michael chose to deal with this pain with drugs, drugs lead to addiction and addiction lead to his death.
Michael Jackson needed God. Michael needed to know, the love of God that passes understanding and true peace, by accepting Jesus, the Prince of Peace. Michael, needed to know that no matter what he did, that if he repented, his sins would be forgiven and remembered no more by God. Michael needed Salvation. You see, spirituality brings you knowledge, but salvation will bring you peace and completion! Colossians 2:10 And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power:
If Micheal only knew how much God loved him, to the exclusion of everyone else in this world; perhaps he could have had personal direction, perhaps he could have made it one more day, perhaps God's love would have brought him true peace.
I can not, I dare not say, where Michael Jackson will spend eternity, for I do not know his last moments nor do I fully understand the grace of God. I do pray he had opportunity to cry out, God, forgive me! God, Save me! Romans 10:13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. I do pray that Michael Jackson did find true peace, the peace he could not find in this life!!

God loves ONLY his children. Unless Jackson was one of them, he was NOT loved by God.
Additionally, prayers for past events are meaningless since history is unchangeable.

Micheal Jackson died without Christ unsaved and is now in Hell. We must tell the truth. We can't think we can inherit eternal life by just screaming God save me on our death bed. We must believe unto righteousness. We must Repent and believe the gospel.

I am a spirit led christian. I prayed for michael's salvation before he died and God has given me confirmation that he is saved in christ. The holy spirit gave me confirmation.
Kofie: I understand what you are saying, but hear me, no one knows whether Michael repented while he lay dying. The thief on the cross repented and Jesus told him, this day will you be with me in paradise.
Micheal's fate is sealed, whether heaven or hell, I do not know. The main concern of every believer, is to make sure of your own Salvation.
Thank you Pam! I am amazed and even hurt by the lack of compassion of some Christians. No one is trying to "put" Michael Jackson in heaven. But the mercy of God is so great and new every morning that Michael could be in heaven tonight. Even on his deathbed, if Michael called on the Name of Jesus he was saved. The devil hates it and religious people can't handle that kind of simplicity. But that is the Gospel. My article echoes your same sentiments, "The King of Pop Meets The King of Kings". Sister Pam,I agree with you that his fate is sealed. To explain, I say this because I googled "Micheal Jackson religion" It spoke of a background in jehova witness,(Cult) and a brief consideration toward Islam while living in Baharain. He also consulted with some Spiritual advisor (Not christian). What would have been likely during a massive heart attack. Not the Romans 10:9. You will not go to heaven for just being sorry for sin. The thief on the cross trusted in the True God Jesus Christ crucified next to him for RIGHTEOUSNESS. Just saying God forgive me the last seconds of your life will not save you. (I'm making converstion not contending) be Blessed.

Whether Michael Jackson repented in his deathbed or not what matters now is how we "Born Again Christians" could minister and reach out to the lost souls. there are plenty of them now a days for the days are evil. I am praying that God will lead us to an opportunity where we can preach and share the gospel that is to do the great commission "to Honor God and Make Disciples....God bless to Michael Jackson's family and I pray for their redemption as well.
You people are f&*king crazy! People evolved from monkeys first of all, there is evidence to prove that! When we die we become fertilizer for plants, we don't burn forever in whatever a hell is. Why does a hell have to be burning anyways. No one has ever lives forever, so forget that if you follow god you'll live forever. The holy spirit does not exist so therefore it cannot give you confirmation. Isn't new technology evil to you people, so why the hell do you use it? for instance google cannot tell you that MJ went to heaven or hell. Death is inevitable and religion exists because people are scared of it and insecure about existence. Michael was the saddest person imaginable. I do hope he is at peace.
