Mel Gibson should be granted full custody of baby Lucia, instead of Oksana Grigorieva.
There are several reasons why Judge Scott Gordon should remove baby Lucia from the custody of Oksana Grigorieva and give Mel Gibson full custody, as he requested from the court as of yesterday.
Mel Gibson obviously loves his daughter and has proven it by his every action since baby Lucia’s birth. It’s clear to anyone who has been following the events involving Mel and Oksana over the past few months.
There is no evidence that Oksana Grigorieva considers baby Lucia anything other than a meal ticket and a bargaining chip.
Whereas, from day one of baby Lucia’s life, Mel Gibson has demonstrated his love for baby Lucia, and has consistently provided for her, physically, emotionally, and financially, in spite of the lies and humiliation Oksana Grigorieva, his former Russian mistress has subjected him to.
Consider the evidence below:
Willingness and Ability to Care and Provide for a Child
Mel has always provided VERY generously for his daughter in every way – a $3 million mansion to live in rent free, paid utilities and all other living expenses, including health care/medical expenses, child care - a paid full time nanny, free car for the baby’s mother, legal fees for Oksana, plus thousands of dollars in child support money, on top of all that. Everybody knows it doesn’t even cost $5000 a month to provide food and clothing for a 1-year-old baby (Remember, everything else is being paid for by her father) Yet Oksana accuses Mel of being a “famous rich man” who’s trying to take advantage of her, and who doesn’t want to take care of his child. What is Oksana doing with baby Lucia’s child support money? What is she spending the money on?
It’s fairly obvious that Oksana is not spending the child support money on baby Lucia. In fact, Oksana even stated in a People magazine interview that she intended to use the increased child support money to pay off her personal debts. (Bear in mind that Mel Gibson is also footing all of Oksana’s legal bills)
Child support money is to be used solely for the support of the child
If Oksana is that financially irresponsible with baby Lucia’s child support money, she needs to turn custody of baby Lucia over to Mel.
Concern, or Lack thereof, for Baby Lucia’s Financial Well-Being
In addition to providing for baby Lucia’s current needs, Mel entered into a signed agreement with Okana for a generous $15 million financial package that provided everything baby Lucia could ever want or need for the rest of her life – even in the event of Mel’s death. Baby Lucia’s inheritance included educational expenses from pre-school through college, all health care/medical expenses, a $ 3 million mansion in trust for her so she would always have a place to live, a multi-million life insurance policy payable to baby Lucia upon his death, and more. Mel even threw in millions of dollars extra for Oksana, which as his mistress for only 18 months, he was under no financial obligation to do. Oksana has even tried to use false evidence and trumped up domestic violence charges to strip Mel Gibson of his visitation and joint custodial rights.
Providing a Safe Environment for Baby Lucia

Even when Mel had his attorneys express his concern about Herzog, and ask Oksana not to have Herzog around the baby, Oksana refused to honor Mel’s request.

Oksana has repeatedly shown that she does not have the best interests of baby Lucia at heart.

Despite Oksana Grigorieva’s attempts to paint herself as a victim, and publicly humiliate Mel Gibson and ruin his reputation, Mel has strictly followed the judge’s admonition to refrain from media interviews during their ongoing child custody case. Who Deserves to Have Custody ? - Oksana or Mel?
Based on the above information ( and there’s so much more that could not be included here) Oksana Grigorieva comes across as a scheming, conniving, gold digger who has no qualms about using her baby daughter as a meal ticket or a bargaining chip. Oksana does NOT appear to be a loving, caring mother who has the best interests of her 1-year-old daughter at heart, and, as such, does NOT deserve to have custody of baby Lucia.

Thanks for all the articles on this investigation and custody battle. I, too, hope that Mr. Gibson is awarded full custody. It seems like a groce misjustice to leave a child in a situation where one parent hates the other and uses the media to try and destroy them. If Ms. Grigorieva will do that in public, what are her actions in private? I'm very impressed with how Mr. Gibson has behaved since this went public; especially how he has made decisions regarding Lucia at great costs to his career.

Wonderful points! If one follows all the nuances of this twisted tale, it is obvious that this woman is a gold-digger who wants nothing but money. She has never made ONE move that showed her children as her first priority. Mel helped raise 7 other kids - all who dearly love their father. He is a good dad.

Oxana doesn't care about baby Lucia except as her meal ticket and it is a shame that the mainstream media continues to provide a forum to this woman or treat Mel as the guilty part when everything points to the contrary. Mel has been the victim here; he was emotionally abused by this woman which drove him into a rage on those tapes. Just looking at this woman spit her lies on the internet and Larry King drives me crazy...she continues to destroy Lucia's father's reputation and the judge needs to set the record straight: strip her of custody and award custody to the better parent: Mel Gibson.
TY, Ruth! i have been so disappointed thus far with Judge Gordon since he has not given any sanction for OG's PR shenanigans for the past several months although he had placed the gag rule...this OG is all you have said AND more ie. according to Mel's Publicist, Alan Nierob, when just a couple months after having baby Lucia, she wanted accompany Mel on the world-wide tour and insisted when Mel resisted and OG was also behaved like a publicity-hungry girlfriend...This is not someone who wants to do what is best for the baby! I certainly hope that the judge would finally see the light since thus far, he has been warning OG to no avail and he would let her pass..OG also said some negative things about the judge on LK interview, and i would be appalled if she is not called on it by the judge! IF the judge does nothing, then obviously, he has no control of his court which would give OG all the benefits!

Ruth, as an expert, i wanted to ask you if it is possible that OG has been the abuser all along and Mel the victim, and not just from her PR stunts but during their relationship. OG has been manipulative since the tapes were released and of course they have been altered, again, her manipulation of the tapes is exposed. on one of the tapes, Mel stated, you hit me...but OG spoke over that portion so it was not totally obvious. since this whole thing came out, OG has been mentally and emotionally abusive to Mel making claims about his abusive behavior, but during those times, she never looked like she was afraid...in fact, she appeared to be under control during all of her lies and behaving like a bully...also, during Mel's depo, OG sat and participated in questioning, as if she was there to somehow intimidate him since it is obvious, he didn't scare her, could it be that somehow it has always been the other way around? Of course, i am not an expert, but it just seems that OG may certainly have created mental and emotional and some physical abusive environment for Mel. Everything she says, OG is lying left and right, and it does take someone special to do so without batting an eye and losing composure! she always looks very defying but trying to look like a poor battered woman, she knows how to manipulate!

Me, I'd like to see the golddigga wearing an orange prison jumpsuit for extortion, if the DA doesn't charge her then a gross miscarriage of justice will have been allowed to occur! I don't condone cheating, I know more about dv than I have ever wanted to over the years, but I think Mel has been well and truly set up by this Russian golddigga! If she is permitted to tape his phone calls, something even the cops can't do without a warrant, and play them from the world to try and destroy his image and name in order to blackmail him in to paying her millions of dollars, then it opens the door even wider for this practise to continue without fear of reprisals! Some sound engineers and experts have already said the tape is manufactured and forensically tampered with! The tape has already created massive damage, there are some who will always believe it's authenticity! At the very least this woman who is not a US citizen and should never become one, should have her Visa terminated, just as her mother and family also living off of Mel should have too !! Permitting her to go unchallenged in court will send out entirely the wrong message and the Justice system needs to be seen to be doing something about what is becoming a way of life for young women today!!
Mel, how rich can you be if you have a daughter without her biological mom raising her? you are too old to have full custody of your baby; should anything happened to you, who will take care of the baby? Learn to forgive the mother of your baby; she makes mistakes and learn from it and will realize later when she is 60. The millions you are spending to all of this mess, are just pennies to you. you never know, that because of this battle, you have become a better person and more popular and in just one film you can make billions again.
Money should not an issue to you, this is all about your baby. Remember, baby Lucia has a long way to go, while your other Children are already grown up and can take care of themselves; and that they can make their own millions if not billions.
Any woman who has a child with a man with lots of children in the previous marriage, usually tries to rake more money to secure the younger one. This is a natural instinct, but most people will call it gold digging. It is okay if she spends lots of money for herself, you have made her changed her lifestyle and it is not her fault to have got a filthy rich man. Put yourself in her shoe, and you will do the same, and maybe worst especially when you are not legally married.

Mel, you do not need professional advisers, you just need common sense. this is about your own blood. Talk and settle this matter with the mother of your baby, it will not take away your billions to do that, instead, you can be a happier person and be able to make bigger film.

Observe how your children from your first marriage and your wife, and ask yourself, "will they take care of my baby should something happened to me? or are they jealous of my new baby?" what do you think would they do when you are gone?
With this questions in mind, while you are still alive, you have all the power to secure your family fairly.

Do not trust Russian women! I know many of them. Obviously that Oksana is after money and used her child for this purpose as soon as she was born. Oksana hasn’t got that much money from Timothy Dalton, has she. Therefore she doesn’t want to lose her chance this time digging deeper into Mel’s pocket. It looks that he already provides generously for his daughter. It is not his responsibility to provide for Oksana. It’s obvious that she is cunning, manipulative and calculating woman. She exploits her daughter to get from Mel as much money as possible. I hope that he’ll get out of all this mess soon, and will start to concentrate on his work. He is a brilliant producer and an actor.
