Kim Kardashian manages to stay in headlines. The latest news to hit the tabloids is that Kim is furious with her ex-husband Kris Humphries, according to a Jan. 3 report.
Although, the new mama in Hollywood feels “blessed and lucky” to be expecting a baby with long-term boyfriend, Kanye West, she says, that her ex-husband is “hell bent on dragging her name through the mud by prolonging the divorce proceedings.”
An insider told, “Kim is seeing red because she is still legally married to Kris. Kim is overjoyed at the news that she is pregnant with Kanye’s baby, but she isn’t able to fully embrace it because of Kris. Kim feels that Kris is hell bent on dragging her name through the mud by prolonging the divorce proceedings.”
If Humphries had not dragged the proceedings, “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” reality show personality would have married the baby’s daddy, Kanye West, who announced the pregnancy during a New Jersey concert. It was reported that the baby was conceived when the love birds vacationed in Rome three months ago.
However, the starlet may heave a sigh of relief because founder of Men's Family Law, David T. Pisarra told The Huffington Post that California state law clearly recognizes a woman's husband as her baby's father, considering they are “living together or cohabitating in legal terms.” However, since Kim and Kris are separated the presumption of Kris as the father would not apply.
