First of all, "Why I am thankful for being a Creationist?" Is because I believe the One who did the creating is the Lord Jesus Christ. Colossians 1:12-17 tells us clearly that it was the Lord Jesus Christ who did the creating and its by faith in Him alone that you believe it.
"Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light. Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son. In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins: Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature: For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him and for him: And he is before all things and by him all things consist" (Colossians 1:12-17)(King James Version).
Second, I am thankful for being a Creationist because the Book of books : The Holy Bible (King James Version) gives a clear picture that it was only six literal (24 hour) days that God (Lord Jesus Christ) created and rested the seventh day. "For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is; and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day and hallowed it" (Exodus 20:11).
The Lord Jesus Christ has given a promise to them who keep His Word and not deny His name. "I know thy works; behold I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name" (Revelation 3:8)(King James Version).
