During a March 25, Kenyan Parliament debate over a new constitution, MP James Orengo referred to the U.S. election of a Kenyan-born president as an example of what can happen when people from different backgrounds come together.
Orengo, who is also Kenya’s Minister of Lands, said: “If America was living in a situation where they feared ethnicity and did not see itself as a multiparty state or nation…How could a young man born here in Kenya, who is not even a native American, become the president of America?”
While the claim by a Kenyan official that Obama was not born in the U.S., and therefore, ineligible to be president, can be dismissed by some as nothing more than a politician taking license with the facts, that argument cannot be made in defending the First Lady’s comments.
Last week, a video surfaced of a speech Michelle Obama made on August 26, 2008, at the LGBT Delegate Luncheon, which was attended by 30 sitting Congressman, including Rep. Barney Frank (D-MA), and well as House Majority Leader Rep. Steny Hoyer (D-MD).
In the video, the First Lady speaks about the stigma of AIDS and the need for more testing. She also referred to a trip she and her husband took to Africa.
She said: “When we took our trip to Africa and visited his home country in Kenya, we took a public HIV test.”
Of course, neither of these revelations have been reported by the mainstream media, which refuses to talk about the fact that Obama has not proven that he is actually even a U.S. citizen, except to characterize those of us who care about having an actual Constitutionally eligible president as nuts, or racists.
Even the most radical of mentally-ill liberals could summon-up enough intelligence to see the improbability of one’s wife being unfamiliar with where her husband was born.

Mrs. Obama was referring to Africa, as her husband's historical "homeland." As in: (since I have to spell it out for you) THAT'S WHERE SOME OF HIS ANCESTORS CAME FROM. There is a certified birth cert. on his Hawaiian birth that has been accepted by anyone who matters. I'm Irish; so when I go to Ireland...I consider that my "home country" even though I wasn't born there. Cannot get over the publishing of such crap. I have Italian ancestors, but I was born in America. The United States is my homeland not Italy. It you want Ireland to be your homeland then go and live in Ireland. Obama has a certificate of live birth that can be issued to someone born outside of the United States. Since he won't release his birth certificate tells me he has something to hide. Michelle said his homeland is in Kenya. Governor Richardson said that he was an immigrant.
