Continuing the discussion on how intelligent Bigfoot could be we continue to look at other animals and try to relate their abilities to our elusive cryptid.
Another aspect of Bigfoot is their ability to communicate. Most Bigfoot researchers will agree the Bigfoot have a language. Of course, to the humans the language sounds like gibberish. This language would be very hard for humans to understand without association of objects and words. Unfortunately, Bigfoot has not volunteered to sit down and teach us their language, but that does not mean Bigfoot does not understand humans. I am very confident Bigfoot are great observers. Interviewing other researchers I have found they also believe Bigfoot views humans as their “Reality TV”. They sometimes sit out of sight and watch humans go about their business in camp. If Bigfoot is as intelligent as dogs or Chimpanzees or Bonobos, they would start to pick up on key words and the associations to objects. With enough time, their vocabulary could increase to the point they would be able to completely understand human language.
Many of the Indian nations have stories of warriors talking to Sasquatch exchanging information on where game and food may be found. On a couple of Bigfoot Research Expeditions members reported hearing voices in the forest. They could not quite understand what was being said, but it sounded very human. Later, they found there were no humans in the area. I have experienced that several times. Through the process of elimination and the absence of humans in the area, I concluded the probably existed I had just heard a conversation between Sasquatches.
On a recent trip to Show Low Arizona, I was listening to the radio. I was picking up a Navajo radio station, and about half the language was Navajo. To my surprise, it was very close to what I had heard in the bushes. But, I am fairly certain there were no Navajos in that part of the forest where the Bigfoot research had been conducted. I am very sure there were no humans at all besides myself. Perhaps, the idea of the American Indian conversing with the Bigfoot is not all that improbable.
Sasquatch communicate verbally, but they also have other methods of communications over long distance besides the wood-knocking or rock clacking. It is becoming clear they also mimic forest animal calls. Of course, they will sound very much like the real owl, coyote, or hawk, and the untrained ear would not be able to tell the difference. If it were not so, it would alarm the other animals during hunting or give away their position to the ever growing population of Humans. Again, they will sound close to the original animal, but there will be subtitle differences. So pay attention to the animal sounds around you while in the forest. You might be hearing a Bigfoot.
