The creator of Flappy Bird, Dong Nguyen has reportedly removed the game from all app stores after receiving an overwhelming amount of criticism over the game.

Although the game was said to be making approximately $50,000 in revenue per day, Nguyen said that it had in fact ruined his life after receiving too much attention.

While Flappy Bird has made Nguyen millions in profit, he still has other games that are ranked high among others in app stores including Shuriken Block and Super Ball Juggling.

Nguyen chose his own sanity over the game according Forbes, and he plans to continue making other games without having to deal with the headache from Flappy Bird.

Despite the recent uproar involving the game, after his announcement that the game would be taken down Nguyen saw an increase in downloads up until it was removed.
