'I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the Republic for which it stands...' Quick, look in the Constitution for the word 'democracy.' You can't find it, right? Do you want to know why? Because America is a Republic, hijacked by progressives and perverted and decaying in the lie and curse called 'democracy!'
Republic versus democracy: http://www.1215.org/lawnotes/lawnotes/repvsdem.htm
Our founding fathers found a Republic based on the Bible, Judeo-Christianity, and natural law. That is why the Declaration of Independence speaks of unalienable rights to 'life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.' They, our founding fathers, never envisioned a pure democracy which kills life in abortion and euthanasia, robs liberty in HHS religious persecution, or kills pursuit in entitlement from Big and Corrupt Government!
John Adams stated: 'Democracy will soon degenerate into anarchy...' Think of Occupy Wall Street and class warfare! Fisher Ames, author of the words of the Second Amendment stated, 'Democracy is a volcano which conceals the fiery material of its own destruction.' James Madison stated, 'Democracy is the most vile form of government...' Alexander Hamilton stated, 'Real liberty is never found in...the extremes of democracy.' Thomas Jefferson stated, 'Democracy is never more than mob rule...'
But don't we vote democratically? Yes, but we are a nation built as a Republic based on unchanging Truths which protect our unalienable rights in the sight of God. Pure democracy is the lie of the progressive to destroy our unalienable rights through mob rule and the dumbing down of our nation! Democracy leads to Big Government infringing on individual freedom and the robbery of personal property. That is why we have a Constitution under attack, for it is a Constitution of a Republic. That is why Republicanism is demonized. That is why the utopian lie of democracy is advanced...to kill our unalienable rights, and then our nation, in the 'fundamental change' of progressive anarchy.

We must become students of both the Republic--in the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution--and students of the Bible, natural law, and the God of both--through the eyes of our founding fathers. If we don't we will fall like Rome!
