It looks like the public may have gotten through to promoters about the trouble a fight between George Zimmerman and rapper DMX may cause.
For starters, George Zimmerman is not and should never be a celebrity, he is known for killing an innocent child and most importantly for getting away with it.
The promoter for the fight Damon Feldman in a series of tweets announced his decision to cancel the fight "to keep people happy." He also admitted that by canceling the match he would be missing out on a large payday.
Popular radio stations, have in the past few weeks been reaching out to Feldman to convince him that putting Zimmerman in the ring and calling it a celebrity boxing match would be a terrible mistake on his part.
Feldman reportedly received thousands of emails from angry individuals who did not want to see this fight go through. It certainly looks like someone may have gotten through to the money hungry promoter.
DMX, in an recent interview about the match clarified that he had not yet even agreed to fight Zimmerman. He claimed "If I fight him all the money has to go to charity and not to him."
Now days later, Feldman has finally canceled the fight that should've never been promoted.
