Many people wish to be able to influence the day they will have. Many people think the way to do this is through influencing outside experiences and the people they intermingle with. A lot depends on you. A lot of times things happen just the way we would not like them to happen.
When you know how to take care of your mind and your body then you will suffer a lot less
When you know the practices of mindfulness, it becomes easier to see the suffering of others and to have compassion and understanding for them. The same goes for yourself, when you understand non-attachment, and limiting unnecessary judgmental thoughts, and learn to embrace, go with the flow and the novelty of life it creates a sense of mindfulness. A higher-level of understanding comes about and you are more compassionate.
Mindfulness a way out of bondage into freedom
Mindfulness is characterized by moment-by-moment focus on thoughts, feelings, environment and body sensations through acceptance and non-judgment. Mindfulness is done also by not dwelling in the future or past tense but sensing what is happening each moment.
Mindfulness has entered mainstream but has its roots in Buddhism
Is mindfulness a mental state? Others see mindfulness as a set of skills and techniques. By brining your attention to the present moment, on purpose and without judgment, every thought and sensation experienced is able to come up with acceptance: by regulation your attention
Paying attention to the subtleties of the present moment
Mindfulness is a higher level of coming to grips with life and your emotions, thoughts and senses as you experience it. One gain to practicing mindfulness is to notice habitual patterns of thought, most commonly patterns of negative stress. Most importantly your well-being is gained which adds significantly to your happiness.
