Whoopi Goldberg outed herself about her weed knowledge on Wednesday morning's The View "Hot Topics"

Whoopi Goldberg knows her weed
The View clique launched into a discussion of racial profiling in marijuana arrests on Wedneday morning's "Hot Topics" segment. The View co-host Joy Behar then proceeded to point out that Whoopi Goldberg seemed to know an awful lot momre about weed than the rest of them.
After introducing a new study that showed that African Americans are arrested for marijuana posession 7 times more frequently than Caucasians, Whoopi Goldberg proceeded to launch into a thinly veiled defense of weed smoking.
Whoopi Goldberg did a lot of dramatic eyebrow raising during The View weed segment, claiming that none of her knowledge came from "personal experience".
"I ask this," said Whoopi "Ganga" Goldberg. "And it's probably a bad question to ask: Would you rather have someone who's smoking a little weed or would you rather have Bernie Madoff? Think about it."
After an awkward lack of applause from The View studio audience, Joy Behar pointed out the painfully obvious: "You know, the fact that you call it 'weed' is a tip off."
Sherri Shepherd joined the dogpile: "Whoopi is in the know. She knows the current lingo."
Elisabeth Hasselbeck threw up a legal protective shield for herself and her The View co-hosts: "FYI. We don't advise this for anyone watching cause it's...illegal."
So, The View co-hosts characterized their African-American moderator as the chief doobie smoker in-house because she used the word "weed". If The View shrews understood the concept of irony, it would have been even better.
