Whole Foods Market to host dairy/gluten-free cookbook author

Whole Foods Market in the Hastings Ranch area of Pasadena is hosting Meg Haworth, author of “Done With Dairy - Giving Up Gluten: 14 Days to a Delicious and Healthy You,” on Tues., Sept. 15 at 6:30 p.m.

Haworth will be demonstrating gluten and dairy-free cooking including a chocolate chip cookie recipe. 

The Whole Foods website says space is limited. Call the store at (626) 351-5994 and ask for customer service to register. 

I have to admit: I am skeptical about a gluten- and dairy-free chocolate chip cookie. I'll let you know how it turns out.
