Grocery shopping at Whole Foods for some families is a more of a wholesome experience. Shoppers may participate in tastings, ask questions about the foods they are purchasing, dine, drink and even pick up recipes inside the store. Young children are customers in training and it is considered by some to be the perfect place for picking up a quick meal after a busy day at work when you don't have the time or inclination to work. Whole Foods recently added yet another dining opportunity to their line up, the Whole Foods Food Truck.
The Whole Foods Food Truck features creative crepes from around the world. They also offer Tots, Beet Tots, and Quinoa Tots, and a broad selection of drinks.
These creative crepes with an international flair feature foods from around the world and Whole Foods does not use artificial preservatives, colors, flavors, sweeteners or hydrogenated fats. Crepes are made using cage-free eggs and made fresh.
Some family favorites include the Sweet American with cream cheese and strawberry filling, Tunisian with spicy lamb sausage and tunisian salad, and the American which features chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes and gravy and which was a favorite with children. See the whole menu online or take a look at it at the truck during your next stop.
Pricing is easy, with three crepes for $9 or one crepe for $4.00. Three crepes can easily be shared by two people and you won't walk away hungry.
