Well, it's official. The Pope is retired, and the long process of choosing another is starting. Would it not be nice to have an American Pope? Who would you choose or nominate if the lay people had an opportunity to make their wishes known. How about Alta Jacko.
Alta lived on the South side of Chicago with her mother and brother. she came from a loving and religious family, even though they had little in the way of material things, in the way of family values they were wealthy. her mother loved her brother and her very much and made sure they understood that. Alta earned a bachelor degree in Education and a Master Degree in Music Education, from the Chicago Conservatory of Music, a Master Degree in Pastoral Studies from Loyola University of Chicago, and a Master of Jurisprudence in Child and Family Law from Loyola University of Chicago. she completed her student teaching at the University of Chicago. she has eight children, four girls and four boys, sixteen grand children and four great-grand children.
