Who Went Home on The Bachelor 2013 Week 6: Love and Losing in St. Croix
During The Bachelor 2013 Week 6 episode on Monday (Feb. 11), Bachelor Sean Lowe bent the rules again and flew with the six remaining ladies to St. Croix. Normally at this stage, the bachelor travels separately and only meets up with the bachelorettes for dates and rose ceremonies.
As the episode opened, Bachelor 2013 Sean Lowe said he was convinced his future wife was among the bachelorettes. The group checked into ocean-front digs at The Buccaneer hotel in St. Croix, part of the US Virgin Islands, before beginning their island adventures.

AshLee, 32, snagged the first one-on-one date with Bachelor Sean in the Virgin Islands. The pair sailed on a catamaran to a private island, where they spent the whole day talking. AshLee explained the uncomfortable dynamics with problem-child Tierra in the house, "She is not polite and she isolates herself. It's awkward, it's weird. Who you get is a completely different girl than the girls get."
Bachelor Sean later said in a voice-over that he appreciated AshLee's honesty regardng Tierra. "When AshLee tells me something, I believe it."
When Sean took Tierra, 24, on the week's second one-on-one date, the day started off with open-air shopping and dancing in a colorful street parade; as the date wore on, however, Tierra said she could feel some distance between them. Sean admitted that may have been due to the tension between Tierra and the other bachelorettes in the house. (Read more about the ongoing Tierra-versus-everyone-else phenomenon here now.)
Recap: Who Got Sent Home on The Bachelor Season 17 This Week?
Toward the end of the episode, that feeling Tierra had would prove a self-fulfilling prophecy. Her out-of-control emotional outburst following a knock-down, drag-out verbal fight with AshLee back at The Buccaneer hotel didn't help either. The fight took place just before Sean came to get Tierra for a surprise meeting with his sister Shea, who he had flown in to help him evaluate his options. Due to her flip-put session, which she probably carried out to try and elicit sympathy from Sean, Tierra suddenly ended up being the first bachelorette who got sent home on The Bachelor Season 17 this week.
On The Bachelor 2013 Week 6 (Feb. 11) group date, Sean took Catherine, Desiree and Lindsay all around St. Croix on a sunrise-to-sunset adventure which included an unannounced 4 a.m. wake-up visit from Sean (who came bearing a camera, much to the girls'understandable dismay), a visit to a tree-house and lots of beach time.
Later, Lesley M. had a one-on-one date with Bachelor Sean, but things weren't looking good from the start. Before the date, Sean confided in voice-over, "I have stronger feelings for other women here, so hopefully today [my feelings strengthen] for Lesley."
The pair visited the beautiful Mt. Washington Estate and had a picnic in the garden, but there was no chemistry. Though Lesley said in voice-over she was in love with Sean, and told Sean on their date she felt they shared a "raw passion", there was nothing brewing on his end.
During the Bachelor 2013 Week 6 rose ceremony, Sean handed out three roses to four women. We'll give you three guesses as to who went home on The Bachelor 2013 Week 6 (besides Tierra, obviously) this Monday.
Desiree got the first rose, followed by Catherine and then Lindsay. This of course means it was Lesley who got sent home on The Bachelor Season 17 this week. She looked crestfallen, but it was evident from their one-on-one date there was no chemistry there. Whatever Lesley M. was feeling was mostly one-sided.
Inexplicably, Catherine broke down in tears as Sean walked Lesley out. "If he doesn't want Lesley, I don't know why I'm here." Catherine continued, "She has more in common with him than I do. This is extremely hard for me. My beliefs are shattered about what he wants."
The teaser for next week's The Bachelor Season 17 hometown dates (Feb. 18, ABC) indicated some major drama between Desiree's brother and Sean Lowe; her brother seemed to be leery of the process of Sean dating so many women at once while the women are invested only in him. Stay tuned!
