Who was voted off 'American Idol' 2014 on April 3 during the 'AI' results show?

"American Idol" was down to its final eight performers on April 3 when the "AI" results show took place on Fox TV. The small screen show featuring top talent from around the nation would soon only have seven competitors vying for the title unless, by the grace of the judging panel, the person with the lowest number of votes was saved, so to speak.

So did that happen on "American Idol" on Thursday after Malaya Watson, Alex Preston, Jessica Meuse, Dexter Roberts, Caleb Johnson, Sam Woolf, CJ Harris and Jena Irene sang their audition songs once again on Wednesday?

It took an entire half an hour of television to discern this very important question during which time Daughtry performed. At the end of the 30 minutes of this "AI" results show, three singers were told the trio was in the bottom three of the top eight. And then one of those singers was told he or she was at the bottom of the pack.

So who was this singer who had to sing for a possible save?

That would be heartthrob Sam Woolf.

In the end, this promising warbler was not let go from the show, being awarded the one and only judges save. That reported, nobody is leaving "American Idol" at this point and so next week eight potential winners will take on this top TV talent show once again like the same singers did this week on Fox.
