These Hollywood celebrities could have taken just about anyone to the Feb. 24 Oscars, but opted to take the one person who truly “launched” their careers … mom. And after last night’s red carpet walk, mom may have just upped their dating appeal!
One would expect the nine-year-old “Beasts of the Southern Wild” actress, Quvenzhane Wallis to bring her mom to the Oscars, but 38-year-old sex symbol Bradley Cooper? Not necessarily. The “Silver Linings Playbook” star escorted his mom, Gloria, whom the actor is reportedly very close with. This was Gloria’s first time at the Oscars and according to E!, Bradley whispered to his slightly nervous mom, “You're really holding it together.”
Bradley Cooper wasn’t the only star to bring mom as a date. Charlize Theron, 37, was escorted by her mom, Gerda Maritz. And “The Avengers” star, Chris Evans, 31, escorted his mom Lisa Evans. Perhaps not wanting to outdone, Best Actress winner Jennifer Lawrence, 22, decided to go one step further and brought her parents Karen and Gary and brothers Ben and Blaine.
