The recently dethroned Miss California and Fearless Protector of Opposite Marriage Carrie Prejean showed off her vocal skills at Wednesday’s 70th Annual Opening Day Festivities at Del Mar Racetrack. Carrie Prejean’s rendition of “Where the Surf Meets the Turf” caused some viewers to liken her vocal stylings to those of Howard Stern Wack-Pack member, Lester “Beetlejuice” Green.
Who sings better? The question seems ripe for a Howard Stern Show in-studio battle. The Howard Stern Show has hosted a variety of contests between “Slow Adults” in the past, but will likely be unable to book Carrie Prejean for an in-studio performance due to Ms. Prejean’s unflappable moral character and Howard Stern’s notoriety for having ladies in the studio take off their tops. Carrie Prejean, who started taking off her top as a teenage model, now limits her exposure to skimpy bikini tops and low-cut dresses due to her new position as spokeswoman for the anti-gay-marriage movement.
So the question of “Who Sings Better: Carrie Prejean and Beetlejuice?” will have to be decided by the YouTube masses. Both sung like retards, but the question of whose retarded singing was better really comes down to a matter of taste.
