Who or what is the real enemy in the war on cancer?

Fighting cancer is as American as baseball, apple pie, hot dogs, and the 4th of July, right? Pink ribbons are more ubiquitous than graffiti. Sound the trumpet, beat the drums, and pull out your wallet for the good of eradicating this plague which inflicts discomfort, disastrous financial and emotional burdens, and death upon the denizens of planet Earth.

In the light of such an observation, it would seem like blasphemous for me to suggest that the war might be more hype and illusion than substance. Would it be ludicrous for me to surmise that not all people desire to add cancer to the list of extinct illnesses?  Would you send men with butterfly nets and funny jackets with the sleeves going backwards if I suggested that perhaps some of the cures or diagnostic aids drummed up to fight cancer actually cause it?

Medical history is rife with examples of persecution of innovative (and correct) medical theories by the ruling establishment of stinking thinking. A salient situation is one in which a young doctor theorized that the failure of physicians to wash their hands, etc. after working with cadavers before assisting in the birth process was causing mortalities among the new mothers. The poor gentlemen was driven out of the hospital by furious comrades (see that story at http://www.grandrapidsmn.com/scene_and_screen/article_e05c184a-fb64-11e0-89c5-001cc4c03286.html ) Today we realize how critical sterilization is. Another good example is the battle that Louis Pasteur was forced to fight to prove his sanity along with the fact that food borne bacteria caused illness and could be neutralized by heat. At one point in time, physicians used bleeding to treat patients. Today such a practice is considered barbaric. Is it possible that in our future, chemotherapy and radiation as cancer treatments will bear the same label?  This is why science needs to allow people to keep kicking the tires of prevailing theories and letting the facts determine what is good and not good science and medicine.

Statistics are staggering in regard to the big C. The financial gain from this fight provides a literal gold mine for those who supply the chemicals etc. (Did you realize doctors share in the profits on chemo sales?) Could it be that these Big Pharma companies are not interested in preventing cancer. They’d perhaps like to milk this golden goose (pardon my mixed metaphor) for all it’s worth. The ideal situation to them would be to market drugs which keep cancer patients alive but which require continual usage to do so. Check out the world of diabetes to see a concrete example in action. Unfortunately for them, their current cancer drugs are not keeping all that many people alive. The supposed “cures” for cancer seem to be more like postponements.

The fact that bothers me is that Big Pharma seems to have purchased the right to dictate medical practice. If you can’t see the giant conflict of interest that situation engenders, I have a wonderful optician I could refer you to. What we observe happening is mind boggling. Parent’s who refuse to submit their children to standard cut, poison, and burn treatment of their children can be jailed or have their offspring taken away. And doctors who explore more effective and safer methods of treatment are not provided funding for research. More critically, such doctors are often badgered and even prosecuted for coloring outside the existing medical lines. Seems extremely ironic to me that radiation, a cause of cancer, is considered a unquestionable ally in the war against this potent killer. Ever wonder why the dental technician puts a heavy lead apron on your when taking snapshots of your mouth?

Would you perhaps wonder what the director of the American Cancer Society does to earn a salary of over a million dollars?  Think how many pledges to pink ribbon bearing walkers or runners it takes just to pay that one salary. And there are many other officers in that organization who pull down exorbitant money as well.

There is another war being waged that you might not be aware of. Entrenched medicine versus innovative medicine is a battlefield that flies under the radar of most laymen. Mainstream media seems to favor the establishment. Money does talk after all. And the world’s citizens’ suffer as a result. I’m doing what I can to bring this battle to the public. I truly believe that you and I should have the freedom to have access to the facts and to make our own decisions based upon our research regarding our own families’ treatment strategy. There is too much evidence that conventional medicine is failing for government officials to punish people who choose alternative treatments. The very foundations of our freedom are intertwined in this struggle in the laboratories.

I’d like to introduce you to a movie that explores this conflict. You can download it for free (or donate to the cause any amount you desire) or buy the DVD.  You can find this exposé entitled Cut, Poison, Burn  at http://nehst.com/

This website has a myriad of other health related books and movies also in their ecommerce store. I’d also recommend the film called Burzynski The Movie.

Warning: perhaps your blood will boil as mine did as you hear how a drug that has earned six billion dollars for its manufacturer actually is a cause of the cancer it was designed to treat. Of course the evidence that the drug company knew of the problems but refused to remove their cash cow from circulation magnifies the emotional reaction. Before watching this movie, be apprised that it could change your life.
