ArtPrize boasts the largest art prize in the world with over $500,000 in cash prizes. This years ArtPrize had over 1,500 entries in downtown Grand Rapids as well as another venue outside of the City of Grand Rapids at the Meijer Gardens (Meijer being one of the contests major corporate sponsors.)
The news of the top ten finalists were announced today at Rosa Parks Circle in Grand Rapids, Michigan and they are as follows:

"Dancing Wiith Mother Nature" by Paul Baliker
"Earth Giant" by Benjamin Gazsi
"Finding Beauty in Bad Things: Porcelain Vine" by Fraser Smith
"Myth-or-Logic" by Robin Protz
"Polar Expressed" by Anni Crouter
"Sleeping Bear Dune Lakeshore" by Ann Loveless
"Taking Flight" by Michael Gard
"Tired Pandas" by Nick Jakubiak
"Uplifting" by Andy Sacksteder
