Who lead singer and Rolling Stone join McCartney at London cancer benefit

The climax of Thursday night's Teenage Cancer Trust at Royal Albert Hall brought together a Beatle, a Rolling Stone and the lead singer of the Who. Roger Daltrey and Ron Wood of the Rolling Stones, who had introduced Paul McCartney, plus Paul Weller of the Style Council and the Jam, joined him for "Get Back." (Thanks to Jeremy.)

In McCartney's setlist, which usually contains changes from night to night, he returned to opening with "Magical Mystery Tour" as he had done two shows previously in Zurich. He also moved "Drive My Car," which he had played late in the set in Antwerp Wednesday (see below), back to early in the set.

The night before in Antwerp, Belgium, he shuffled the setlist a little more than usual. He took a song that he's had in the first part of his shows, "Drive My Car," (as in Cincinnati) and moved it near the end to the first encore. As he often does, he changed the opening, from "Magical Mystery Tour" to "Venus and Mars." But he also shuffled "Jet" and "Junior's Farm," and subbed "Day Tripper" for "Helter Skelter."

In both shows, "My Valentine," from "Kisses on the Bottom," which he premiered in this latest round of shows, was still performed.
