With this Brown Fat Revolution diet, you are allowed to eat 6 times a day to keep your metabolism going strong. You alternate “carb days” with “protein days” during this Brown Fat Diet. On protein days you obviously eat protein but with a mixture of low-fat dairy, non-starchy vegetables, low-carb fruits and healthy fats. On the carb days, you eat grains, starchy vegetables, high-carb fruits and a small amount of protein.
On the Brown Fat Revolution diet you must eat before and after every workout as well as eat a variety of foods. You must keep the portions reasonable, drink plenty of fluids and choose one day a week where you can eat whatever you want (within reason, up to 2,000 calories). A glass of wine with dinner and a cup of coffee with breakfast is fine but you must stay away from processed foods, artificial sweeteners, colors and preservatives.
