On Sunday March 3, 2013, the musical group "Monster on Sunday" will be playing at The Friendly House, sponsored by The Humanists of Greater Portland (a secular humanist organization). Click here to see all the details for this free event, and to rsvp.
The music group just published a new original song, called "Monster on Sunday." Click here to listen to the music online, and see the lyrics. Their lyrics make you ponder the question, who is really the Monster? Is it sinful humans, as Christian theology might teach? Or is it God, as known by the killing (and other evils) he is claimed to have commanded in the Old Testament? Or is it religious parents that pass on superstitious religious thinking to their children?
After the musical event, there will be an optional group lunch at a nearby restaurant.
