On Jan. 22 Celebrity Dirty Laundry shared some facts about one of the scariest of all the VH1 "Mob Wives." Many fans are glad to hear something about Renee Graziano since they didn't really know anything besides her sometimes bad attitude from the show. For those that would like some background information on one of the most famous "Mob Wives," here it is.
Renee's father was a high ranking member of the Bonanno crime family. He was arrested several times, most recently during the second season of "Mob Wives" filming when Renee's ex-husband Hector Pagan, Jr. ratted him out to the feds not long after doing a 12 year prison sentence. Ms. Graziano says that most mobsters and mafia personas don't like media attention, but for Renee it was a great way to give back. According to the government, which keeps tabs on all the mobsters and their families, she is just the daughter of a mobster.
Renee started out as a celebrity stylist to rappers. She has worked with 50 Cent, Ghost Face Killah, and several others. Renee says that she loves all kinds of music but Jay-Z is among her favorite. She also likes to tune into VH1 for music videos and her favorite shows, "Love and Hip Hop," and "Basketball Wives."
Renee has also used her position to do good things and build a better future for herself with money that doesn't come from the mob. He is the founder of Jail Mail, an online greeting card company that sends approved mail to inmates, and she is working on a shoe line called Mob Candy.
When Sandy hit Staten Island, Renee was in Florida going through drug rehab for an addiction to pain medication. She was self medicating after a surgery gone wrong. Her ex-husband Junior was also over medicating her to keep her from noticing his cooperation with the feds. Renee created a small fund called "Operation Mob Wives Saving Lives" that raised over $8,000 that she donated in December.
Overall, Renee Graziano doesn't seem to be doing too bad for herself and her only child AJ. She is doing much better now that she has gone through rehab and her ex-husband is behind bars, where she thinks he should be. Now her and her son are able to move on in life and do something better for themselves and their community.
