NBC’s The Voice will reduce the contestants from the Top 5 to the Final 3 in the results show this evening. After last night’s performance round it is easy for the viewers to see the front runners in the show.
Tessanne Chin, is by far the front horse in this race. With powerful vocals, perfect pitch and great song choice she has won many fans in the show. Tessanne performed ‘Bridge Over Troubled Water’ last night and had the crowd on their feet with her final long and powerful note. Tessanne should be safe this week.
Will Champlin, the dark horse in the race to the finish. Will performed ‘Carry On’ last night and had fun during his performance as his coach, Adam Levine, noted through his statements and reviews of Will smiling. Will performs with perfect sounds and is always searching for something better than his last performance on the show. Will just may carry on into the final 3.
Jacquie Lee, the young powerhouse that Christina Aguilera has molded through the series. Jacquie may have overdone her performance of Sarah McLachlan’s ‘Angel’ but will not have people skipping their votes to someone else. She is young and cute which will push her through to the next round.
Looks like trouble tonight for James Wolpert, even if his coach Adam beams every time James sings. James had some pitch issues and was flat during part of his performance of the U2 smash hit ‘With or Without You’. This time James may have bit off a song too big for his vocal skills.
Also in trouble tonight will be Cole Vosbury with his rendition of the Billy Joel/Garth Brooks song ‘Shameless’. His coach pulled on Cole’s former coach CeeLo Green for some advice as well for this performance, but was it too much information by two coaches for Cole to use in his performance.
Tune in tonight to NBC at 9PM EST/8PM CST to find out who will be moving on to the Top 3 for the Finals Round on The Voice.
