Charles James is a British born fashion designer known as "America's First Couturier." He is widely considered a self-taught designer and master of cutting and is known for his highly structured aesthetic.
He attended Harrow school in the 1919 and opens his first hat shop called “Charles Boucheron". At nineteen in 1926. He moved to London from New York to set up shop in Mayfair.
