Who got shot on 'Scandal,' what's next, and cast members tease future episodes

With all of the unexpected twists, the juicy ‘so wrong, it’s right’ hook ups, and the substantial amount of skeletons in everyone’s closets that always leaves fans guessing, it’s no wonder why ABC’s ‘Scandal’ has so many people tuning in each week to see what’s to come in Olivia Pope’s (Kerry Washington) world.

It wouldn’t be ‘Scandal’ if fans weren’t left mentally anguished while desperately pleading for more episodes each week, and the ABC hit drama did exactly that with its most recent jaw dropping episode, ‘No Sun on the Horizon,’ which aired on March 13. The episode ended with a shocking cliffhanger that left fans speculating who else was it that, new Command of B613, Jake Ballard (Scott Foley), shot. Was it David Rosen (Joshua Malina) or James Novak (Dan Bucatinsky)?

The burning question will be answered in the next episode, ‘Kiss Kiss Bang Bang,’ which will air on March 20. But no matter who it was that got shot, it won’t stop causing other things to arise.

According to the ABC press release, Sally Langston (Kate Burton) issues a meeting with the NRA that drives the White House into a downward spiral, someone unexpected will be seeking help from Pope and Associates, and shocking realizations will be attained by Huck (Guillermo Díaz) and Olivia.

To make the fans of ‘Scandal’ more anxious than they already are, stars Kerry Washington and Darby Stanchfield, who portrays Abby Whelan, posted teasing tweets regarding upcoming episodes.

Get those wine glasses ready, Gladiators. It’s safe to say that there is no way to prepare for what’s to come, so buckle up and enjoy the rollercoaster ride of unforeseeable feelings that will be experienced in the near future.

‘Scandal’ airs Thursdays at 10/9c on ABC.
