Who Got Sent Home on The Bachelor Week 8: Temptations in Thailand
As the show opened, Bachelor Sean Lowe lamented his thoroughly enviable dilemma. "I still don't know what I'm going to do. I'm not thinking about who gets the rose at the end of the week, I'm thinking about who I could spend the rest my life with."
First, Sean and Lindsay had their one-on-one and eventual overnight date. The day started with a buggy ride to a local Thai market, where the pair adventurously tried new foods. Sean even got Lindsay to try bugs, which she had said she wouldn't.
Later, the pair enjoyed a make out session, fed wild monkeys on the beach and discussed their relationship. The two then had dinner surrounded by lit-up Thai floats covered in flowers and embellishments and enjoyed a traditional dance by Thai dancers.
Lindsay agreed to stay in the fantasy suite with Sean that night with no stipulations or hesitation beforehand. Lindsay finally confessed to being in love with Sean, to which Sean replied "I love hearing you say that."

Next up on this week's The Bachelor 2013 Week 8 episode, Sean and AshLee's Thailand date, followed by Sean's time with Catherine. AshLee and Catherine also agreed to stay in the fantasy suite with Bachelor 2013 Sean Lowe at the end of their one-on-one dates, but each set out ground rules to which Sean readily agreed, explaining his personal intention was to simply take advantage of off-camera time as a couple. "I want to talk for hours," Sean told both women individually when the fantasy suite overnight date cards came.
On her date, AshLee had to trust Sean enough to swim through a dark cave to reach a secluded, encapsulated beach at the center of a small island they boated out to on her date; she did so, with more than a little hesitation. AshLee was more committed than ever to trust Sean and let him guide, though. "In this situation, you have to let go, otherwise you don't fall in love," AshLee said happily.
Catherine got off easy, with no requisite bug eating or dark, creepy cave swimming on her date. Catherine and Sean sailed to a snorkeling spot and then made out in the rain before having dinner in a canopied beachfront pagoda. Catherine seemed eager to spend some alone time with Sean in the fantasy suite at the end of their day together.
So, who got sent home on The Bachelor 2013 Week 8 (Feb. 25) during the final Season 17 rose ceremony following all these almost sickeningly-romantic dates paid for by ABC? Sorry, AshLee fans, but tonight wasn't homegirl's night. Bachelor Sean Lowe gave the first rose to Lindsay, and then, after standing there for a looong time, said Catherine's name.
AshLee tried to show little emotion, but her devastation was clear. AshLee didn't say goodbye to the other women and wouldn't allow Sean to walk her to the waiting SUV. "Please stay here," she asked of him. Sean approached anyway. "I don't want you to go away angry. I want you to know why made my decision." Sean continued in a pleading voice, but AshLee appeared thoroughly non-plussed. She said nothing.
"I thought it was you from the very beginning," said Sean. "This is honestly the hardest decision I've ever had to make. I think the world of you...I hope you know I'm coming from." AshLee shot daggers with her eyes.
Sean said, "I did not want to hurt you." Ashley lightly touched Sean's back as she got into the vehicle and closed the door behind her, but still, she said nothing. Once inside the SUV, AshLee spoke. "This wasn't a silly game to me. This wasn't a joy ride." Ashley looked incredibly angry. "I let him in and I loved him. It's the ultimate [rejection]."
