For the first time this season, The Bachelor 2013 Week 4 is actually a two-night event spanning four hours as opposed to a single two-hour episode on Monday night.
If you missed anything, or just need to know who got sent home on The Bachelor 2013 this week (Feb. 4), find out in our quick recap below. Part two of this week's Bachelor Season 17 special event airs on ABC Tuesday, Feb. 5, 8 p.m. local Tucson time.
The drama and cat-fighting over Bachelor Sean Lowe heated up quickly during the first part of The Bachelor 2013 Week 5 two-parter (Feb. 4). Tierra was the focus of most of the tension, naturally, with things reaching a boiling point between her and some of the other girls. Get a full recap below! Who Got Sent Home on The Bachelor 2013 This Week (Season 17, Week 5)
The Feb. 4 episode opened with Chris Harrison telling the ladies to pack their bags for a round-the-world love adventure, set to begin right away in Montana. After whisking Lindsay off on the episode's only one-on-one date (and giving her the rose), Bachelor Sean pondered a future with her. Sean Lowe told the camera he saw Lindsay as being both a best friend and potentially, the love of his life. "I don't know if that can be beat."
Darned if he wouldn't try though! On the group date, Bachelor Sean met several of the ladies, including Selma, Ashlee, Desiree, Catherine, and a few others, in the woods for a Montana wilderness relay challenge. For the race, the bachelorettes had to race canoes, saw logs and drink goats milk, which they gladly did for a chance at extra tie with their collective man; in the end, it didn't matter that one group of women won, because Sean felt so bad for the losers that he invited them to tag along at the victory party. The winning team was not amused.
Bachelor Spoilers Season 17: Who Does Sean Lowe Pick? Find Out Here...If You Dare!
During his two-on-one date with Tierra and Jackie, Jackie went out on a limb and shared her suspicions about Tierra's motivations with Sean. Jackie even told Sean she saw Tierra flirting with some random guy at the airport, but Sean didn't take her warning very seriously. This may turn out to be his mistake, but at the end of the super-awkward three-piece date, Jackie did not get offered the rose. Score another victory for Tierra.
During The Bachelor 2013 Week 5 rose ceremony, the last three ladies left desperately waiting to hear their names called were Sarah, Robyn and Desiree. Ultimately, it was Robyn who got sent home on The Bachelor 2013 tonight (Feb. 4). Sean walked Robyn out, but the sad music and Robyn's tears were just a bit much; these two had about as much chemistry as a rock and a piece of driftwood. So long to dead weight!
Tomorrow night (Feb. 5), the group visits the Canadian Rockies, but the teaser tells us a medical emergency threatens the trip, and one bachelorette's safety. Sean is heard saying, "Her lips were blue, I didn't even think she was responsive." It looks like the girl in question is Tierra, so the other girls are automatically suspicious.
Bachelor Sean Lowe does seem to fall for girls when they play the "victim card", so we'll see how this plays out. Stay tuned, and check back soon for more Bachelor spoilers ahead of the Season 17 finale!
