Who Got Sent Home on Dancing With The Stars 2013 (Week 2 Results)
Viewers who missed last week's DWTS premiere might have been surprised to find out about a big change for one of their favorite shows. Producers or network execs made the call to change things up for season 17 of the popular ABC show, switching from their typical two-night format to present a single two-hour show once a week on Monday nights, combining competition and elimination results into one episode. No longer do fans have to wait until Tuesday nights to suffer through a forced, commercial-heavy one-hour variety show find out their favorite celebrities' fates. (Thank you, ABC!)
In line with this new method, the judges' scores from both weeks of competition thus far as well as viewer votes from last week were used to determine the elimination outcome on Sept. 23. (This season, viewers who call in each week will have their votes tallied into the following week's results; viewer votes make up half of the final results.)
So, who got sent home on Dancing With The Stars 2013 this week? Say so long to Keyshawn Johnson, who had the second lowest total score between the two weeks, with 35 out of 60 possible points. Combined with viewer votes, Keyshawn became the first cast member eliminated from DWTS Season 17.
