Whitney Port gives us the 8th and final episode of Genuine Ken, where it's been narrowed down to 2 in NYC, the most-romantic place in the world.
The final challenge was for the 2 Kennabes to show their romantic side through the eyes of photography, going all-around Manhattan to explain their eyes of romance.
The Kennabes also had to present a gift of grand gesture ($500 budget) to 50 women who'd help in judging which would be Genuine Ken as the remaining 2 had to make a speech stating their case to be Ken.
In the end, the 50 women dropped a rose in the Ken's vase of who they wanted to win but Whitney and Lauren of Mattel picked a winner, sending the loser home.
Whitney Port has amazingly done a fantastic job hosting Genuine Ken throughout all the 8 episodes with such charm and coziness, carrying her well-known attentiveness as she's done with Lauren Conrad on The Hills.
What many thought to be a ridiculous career-move or reality show at first, turned out to be an entertaining effort by Mattel and Whitney Port, with no overzealous drama or spontaneous-staged fights, ads for the final episode increased too with spots from reputable brands.
For Whitney Port, this could open new opportunities for her career as a TV personality or a reality star, it may even give Whitney her own show again.
Only time will tell. And that is what makes yours truly a Genuine Ken.
